Hyper-realist painter Jane Jones never fails to see the beauty in the simplest things in nature. Also a masterful gardner, Jones works closely with the flowers she paints. In each painting, Jones uses simple yet elegant arrangements of silk tablecloths, glass vases and dramatic lighting, which showcase each flower’s grace and delicacy.
However, Jones chooses flowers as her primary subject for more than just their beauty. Today’s world is fast paced and complex and can quickly become tiresome and overwhelming. The plants and flowers in nature remind Jones to always take a moment to appreciate the beauty which surrounds each of us every day.
The show opens on Thrusday, January 31, 2013 from 6-9pm and will hang in the gallery until February 13th. So take a break from the chaotic, everyday world and come to Bonner David Galleries to enjoy the breathtaking paintings of Jane Jones.
During this time of the year in Arizona, classic cars are everywhere. London-based painter, Peregrine Heathcote has a taste for the classic, which is easily visible when viewing any of his work. He combines the intoxicating glamour of iconic pre-war design with modern conceptions of beauty and silverscreen-era romance, seemingly crossing the boundaries of time. Through scenes of beautiful women and classic cars and planes, he depicts the world of our dreams. It may be a vision of the international, jet-set culture, the calming allure of the water, or timeless silverscreen romance.
His show opening, which will be from 6-9 pm on Thursday, January 10th features several new works which encompass the intrigue of a by-gone world with a flair of contemporary spirit. As 2012 came to a close, Bonner David Galleries welcomed the new year displaying the beautiful and lively works of Claudia Hartley. The show, which opened on December 29th, features Hartley’s vividly colorful paintings, inspired by her travels, most notably her recent trip to Sedona. Mesmorizing scenes of bold red rocks, majestic mountains and dancing spruce and cottonwoods, fill the canvasses creating windows to far away scenes.

Upon seeing her work hung in the gallery, Hartley remarked, “This is one of my prettiest show ever at the gallery!” Hartley has been with the gallery since it opened ten years ago and never fails to amaze with her stunning works. This year, with paintings of both oil and acrylic and sizes ranging from very small, to massive works that fill the wall, there is a scene for every occasion.
